Departments at Salve Regina

Salve Regina offers a comprehensive liberal arts education featuring a wide range of academic disciplines. Students are encouraged to explore their interests and define their goals before declaring a major at the end of their second year of study. In addition, the Core Curriculum is designed to ensure that graduates are well prepared to enter their chosen field of industry, equipped with the skills needed to succeed in today's fast-paced, continually evolving workplace.

When he first set foot on campus, Vin Testa '11 hit the ground running, getting involved early and often. A familiar face in the Salve Regina community, Testa does it all, from serving as treasurer of the Student Government Association to choreographing numbers for the student-run dance organization SRU Dance.

Former athlete holds NCAA record

Former Salve Regina baseball player Damian Costantino holds the NCAA record for consecutive game hitting streak, at 60 games. In April 2003, Costantino broke the record of 58, which had been set by former New York Yankees third baseman Robin Ventura when he played for Division I Oklahoma State in 1988.
